Adding a WooCommerce New Order Email Recipient

When a customer places an order in a WooCommerce store on a WordPress website, a notification email can be sent.  The default recipient is the email address specified on the WordPress General Settings page.

Because it can be hard to find if you don’t know where to look, here is where and how to customize the recipient(s).

1. Log in to your WordPress admin area, click on or mouse-over “WooCommerce” on the left menu and then click “Settings.”

2.  On the resulting page, click the “Emails” tab.

3.  Then click the “New order” link.

4.  Finally, enter the new recipient’s email address in the “Recipient(s)” window.  If entering more than one email address, separate each with a comma.  Click “Save changes” at the bottom of the page to complete the process.  And make sure the “Enable this email notification” box is checked.
